From the gorgeous landscape of the southern Patagonia Ice Field, we head north to the stunning Swiss inspired town of San Carlos de Bariloche (or Bariloche) for short. Set within Argentina’s Lake District, this town is known for it’s picturesque qualities and notable German and Swiss influences—including lots of chocolate shops :p

Since it’s Thanksgiving and we’re away from home. We’ve decided to splurge a little and spend a couple of days in an incredible hotel in Puerto Natales—the jumping off point to the Chilean side of Patagonia. We’re still holding out hope that we’ll be able to go on to see Torres del Paine.

We’ll depart one southern most city in a country — Ushuaia, Argentina—for another—Punta Arenas, Chile. It’ll be quite a day of travel day, as we’ll spend about 16 hours navigating the archipelago on our way to Argentina’s western neighbor: Chile.
